Assimilation Pastor | email
Loretta grew up in Bigler, PA and her parents modeled the lifestyle that if the church doors were open, they were present. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at age 13 and was blessed with Godly teachers and saints within the congregation who showed her God’s love and promises. She first learned to serve at Bigler Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Marriage brought her to Clearfield and West Side United Methodist where she served on boards, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Heartbreak brought her to Hyde Wesleyan Church and a mission trip to Swaziland in 2004 brought in her a firm call to serve others. She began correspondence courses the following year and seeks to be ordained to be a living testimony to God’s goodness and faithfulness.
In 2010, Loretta became our Assimilation Pastor, giving leadership to many areas within our church. She thanks God for all that He has blessed her with and quotes 2 Timothy 1:7 as a verse that inspires and keeps her going – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
